Australian National Anthem

I chose to do the Australian national anthem. Their national anthem is "Advance Australia Affair", and has only been that since 1984 (before it was "Waltzing Matilda"). It starts off by saying that Australians should rejoice because they are young and free. Australia has only been its own country since 1901 when the six colonies joined together and created Australia, so it is a very young country, barely over 100 years old. By saying they are free means that they have no foreign influence controlling them at this point. They are no longer a colony of the United Kingdom, and they share their continent with no one. For the rest of the anthem, they are mainly stating how proud they are to be their own country, and to not have anyone to answer to. They are their own country, and they control their own lands.
